With oils you have to at least wait until later in the day to put another layer on-even with a drying agent. But with acrylics you can get the most amazing layering results.Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02621530803562406216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1370719772739835627.post-79201231927567488972010-04-11T10:49:49.280-06:002010-04-11T10:49:49.280-06:00Just gorgeous Julie! You know, I forgot all about that and I'll have to get some.

Yes, old Gaudi did get run over by a tram and then died. He refused to go to a better hospital because he insisted that he belonged with the poor.

I'm glad it brought back fond memories for you, Linda-the house, I mean. It was really in disrepair but that's the great thing about being an artist. You can renovate and change things. I'm going to talk about that in a post.Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02621530803562406216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1370719772739835627.post-57730083047494371312010-04-08T00:55:34.111-06:002010-04-08T00:55:34.111-06:00what a wonderful house....reminds me of my great-g...what a wonderful house....reminds me of my great-grandmothers....Linda Tunnellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13423265966091830574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1370719772739835627.post-79523140257137243472010-04-07T22:32:17.039-06:002010-04-07T22:32:17.039-06:00When I was a student (back in the 60's/70'...When I was a student (back in the 60's/70's) I used to buy a Liquitex colour called 'unbleached titanium'; I loved it.

Poor old Gaudi.
