Gotta post the kid and friends

So, Charlie, on the right with glasses, is our last child at home but you can hardly call him a child any more.  He's 25!  Today he left to go camping with his friends up American Fork Canyon.  He tried it a few weeks ago with one friend.  They got all set up-tent, fire, etc.-only to be told by the ranger that they had to have a permit.  Very maddening.  They're going to the same spot but getting the permit this time.  Today has been quite nice but I've been inside cleaning-making up for last weekend when I spent all my time doing yard cleanup.  Well, someone has to do it but these guys always help.  Thank goodness.

  2. Hi Julie!
Thanks for dropping by at my blog. You probably guessed right about that the name of the book was "Psalm Book", but actually it was in Swedish, not Finnish. I still have over 2 decades until my youngest turns 25 :-)

  3. Oh! My heritage is Swedish but I know next to nothing about it (obviously). Wow! You are way behind me. My youngest is 22!

  5. Yes, you are and I know exactly what you're going through. I had 3 boys and then a girl. The boys had a ritual before they would get into the car. They all had to kick each other-then they would smash into the back seat on one side of the Blazer (as you couldn't get in the back from both sides). Let me tell you-I was a tad stressed out at times and I can tell you all about cub scouts as I was a leader for 2 1/2 years. I did have lots of fun but it was very nice to have a little girl come along.
