The quilt for Alta, little girlie

This really has been a sewing year so far and I've been having so much fun.  I even got a new sewing machine!  I know.  I know.  My easel is haunting me.  It's right next to where I've been sewing and I will get a painting going soon.
Now this is showing the flip side.  This was not part of the pattern at all.  The hearts are all made out of material that was my mother-in-law's.  She passed away a few years ago.  My daughter, Gracie,  loved her Grandma J so much.  So I decided that it would be so sweet to have loving hearts that will wrap around Alta, Gracie's baby.
So we put Alta in the little napkin (whatever it is) as we thought she was more of a doll than the doll.

Thought you'd like to see the hardest quilt I've ever done.  By the way-none of these quilts are my original designs.  They are from the Gingham Goose Company.  You can Google it if you want to see all of their patterns.  There are quite a few.  I love the way the directions are well written and they're so fun!
